We are a relatively new club but we do lots of eco-friendly things to help keep our planet alive for longer.

Did you know that lots of things and people help do the same thing as us (help save the planet) but the thing that helps the most are local clubs and communities or small groups made up of children/adults. Because they care the most and love what they do the most and act the most. The young people of today are the lives of the future and we need them and they need us! So go and join one of those groups and make a difference. Every little or big thing counts.

The title of this page is “things we do” and in the paragraph above doesn’t mention any of that (but we are children). So here is what we do.

We wrote a letter to William Quince who is a part of the government who specializes in the planet and the problem of climate change, deforestation and water waste, the general problems of the planet and how we can help it to continue living healthily.

We also are writing a letter to Priti Patel asking her to look into how we could reduce water wastage. She is the local Member of parliament where we live.

We are looking into the idea of a sponsored walk round our local park to raise money for the club to plant some trees near where P.S.W is based.

We are currently planning a sponsored walk and cycle round our local area! The money raised will go to two charities: The Ocean Cleanup and The Rainforest Alliance. We are making a poster about what we are doing and the times and dates haven’t been decided yet.

We are hoping to expand on these but for the moment that is more than enough for us.
